Hello, everyone! Welcome to NoLongerFics, a new webpage for all of the content crafted for the "No Longer: A Barrier's Tail" MLP
fanfiction book series.
With Book 2 solidly in the rear-view mirror, we thought it might be fun to create a webpage of our own. FIMFiction will always
be home, but on this site, we will have more control over what and how we publish. For example, the Pitch Page
contains some background lore information that likely would have been lost in the blog sauce on other platforms. Furthermore,
we have the ability to better separate NSFW/mature content into clearly marked areas that would have run afoul of
fimfiction rules—or required us to put all of NLA under a mature tag, which was something that neither Sober nor I wanted to do.
With that, we sincerely hope you enjoy your time on this new site! There will be more to come, particularly as chapter pages get added.
And as always, thank you for your readership, time, and support.
Thanks to everyone for the love and support over the last ten months. It's been a bittersweet journey to get here through some trying
times in our lives. I sincerely hope you've found this to be an entertaining read week after week, and I hope you found Tail's vows to be
fantastic a.f. :P
It seems fitting to post the last one on my birthday, Wing's that is. Gonna have to get some apple pie, sit back, and find some zen in
the soothing light at the end of the process. I'll try not to keep you all waiting until 2028 for the next one. ;) Sober might get antsy
and start sending me some scene seeds. I made sure all of those made it into both NLD and NLA btw. Partnership!

.We've Been Busy! — November 18, 2020
Alright kids! Wing sneaking on here! I'm confident enough to no longer hide it behind a cipher. Some months ago, I posted a blog entry
about the state of NLD's sequel. In that posting, I mentioned the numerous things in my life that had made it a struggle to put out the
massively overdue No Longer Alone. What I didn't mention is that I committed to a plan of attack unlike anything I had ever done before.
On July 20th, when NLA was merely 56,900 words long, I told Sober that I was going to write 1000 words per day until it was done.
Admittedly, there were a few days I missed due to work/family reasons, but excluding those days, I did exactly what I fucking said I was
going to do.
So here it is, in big bold letters.
NLA is currently made up of around 167,000 words
Oh, and... No Longer Alone is done.
I'm shifting to the editing phase now. My intent is to put out the first chapter in a weekly release schedule on some Thursday in
December. Though, I don't have a target date yet. Either way, the wait is almost over.
Sass, science, and shipping are coming.

.NLD Publication Run Complete — July 27, 2017
Ahh, so much thanks to the readers for your continued awesomeness. Props to Word Worthy for editing through to the end. Additional
props to Sixkiller5 and Floofy, for their typo hunting, and Neon for her squees. The final counts, by the way, were 392 squees,
110 Neon deaths, 1 NeonGiggle (TM), and 1 conflicted squee. :P Have to renew my thanks to Alticron for the use of Bonecrusher. She
was truly the best early nemesis. And Doccular and Iryerris lent some editing time when they could. And how could
I possibly not thank dream--chan? Her adorably cute art essentially defines Tail!
Now, there are really a lot of things that I could write here as my sign-off statement for this story, and there are probably a
bunch of things I'm forgetting. That being said, the diner in this chapter is based on a real diner in my town where Sober and
I wrote a lot--and where a lot of important Tail+Barrier RP events took place. ;) Trot Bell is based on the owner of the establishment.

.No Longer Displaced #gethype — January 20, 2017
Hello readers! Do you all vaguely remember how once upon a time, I'd update things and post horsewords? Admittedly, the second half
of 2016 was a raw shit deal on my end. The writing vibe was largely suppressed, but one voice rang out through my imagination, and
that voice belonged to a sassy little pegasus named Tail. She began her existence as Wing's R63, but it quickly became evident that
there were some unique elements up for exploration. That was only cemented when she met Sober's character, Magic Barrier.
My fingers have been quite busy putting horsewords to the digital page. I threw a hinty-hint blog up some time ago, but now I'll just
be far more direct. Sober and I have been working on a novel-length release. I haven't been sitting on my hands. In fact, it's written,
and it's coming.
We'll be publishing this work to Sober's account, but of course, I'd appreciate the support of all of my friends here. This story means
a lot to me. It frankly kept me out of a damming spiral of depression. As an added plus, if you enjoyed the tech lore of A State of Darkness,
there are definitely some expansions queued in No Longer Displaced.
I'll be sure to keep blogs updating folks when things come! It's going to be a weekly affair on Thursday, with a couple Monday Midweek
Montages as ze bonus.
